Detroit, Oct. 19, 2020 — DealerShop™, a premier supplier of automotive dealership and collision center resources, has announced that Steven Landry and Fred Pechet have joined its Board of Directors. Each drawing from more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, Pechet and Landry bring a wealth of knowledge to assist the one-stop sourcing partner.

Landry’s background encompasses sales, dealership operations and relations, asset management, business strategy and operational performance. Currently, Landry serves as president of Panther Business Partners, where he provides advisory services in revenue growth, business improvement and M&A transactions. Prior to this role, he was CEO and president of AutoCanada Inc, the largest retail auto group in Canada, where he was responsible for strategy and operational performance. He also held leadership positions with ATCO Group, and a variety of roles with increasing responsibility over the course of a 27-year career at Chrysler Corporation.
Landry previously served on several boards, including Global Electric Motors, ALTe Technologies, Walter P. Chrysler Museum, R.L Polk & Co. advisory board and was chair of the National Automotive Council of Canada. Landry earned a master’s degree from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s of commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Pechet has a long history of working as an investor, entrepreneur, owner and operator across the automotive, finance and insurance industries. He owned a General Motors dealership in Montreal, Canada for 29 years. Additionally, he owned a national leasing company as well as an import/export company that specialized in cars, trucks and automotive parts with activities in North America, Europe and the Middle East.
A big milestone in Pechet’s career was co-founding and becoming a board member of Montreal- based Leader Auto Resources (LAR), the Canadian counterpart of DealerShop. As a new board member for DealerShop, he will leverage his experience with LAR to support its complementary endeavors. Similarly, he is an active board member of Europe’s largest automotive buying group, TECAR International. He graduated from the Chelsea College of Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering in London, England.
